Foreign tourists who visit Albania stay for an average of four nights, mainly in hotels, and travel with their private vehicles.
Their spending mounts up to 52 EUR a day, on average.
2018 had 15.8% more tourists than in 2017 and their spending increased with 12.5%.
Besides Kosovo citizens, who are the most loyal, Northern Macedonians and Montenegrins spend up to 60 Euros a day, while Italians 81.
From 2014 to 2018, the number of tourists who have spent more than one night in Albania has been 21 million.
When interviewed, many of the tourists say that their decision to return is based on low prices.
