During his visit in Israel, the Albanian President, Ilir Meta, had a meeting with the Bulgarian counterpart, Rumen Radev.
Meta thanked Radev for the assistance and solidarity offered by the Bulgarian authorities after the November 26th earthquake.
He expressed his belief that Radev’s visit in the next weeks would confirm the excellent relations between the two countries and its people.
Appreciating the constant support of Bulgaria for Albania’s EU integration, Meta reiterated his firm belief in Bulgaria’s support for the accession negotiations.
Met and Radev agreed that the promotion of Corridor 8 should be at the center of the cooperation between the two countries.
